Havant and Waterlooville in the money from Liverpool Cup tie

Havant and Waterlooville could earn as much as £800,000 from their FA Cup fourth-round tie against Liverpool at Anfield.

Manager Shaun Gale's mid-table Blue Square Conference South side head to Merseyside for the clash on January 26 after dumping Swansea, the Coca-Cola League One leaders, out of the competition 4-2 in the shock result of the third round.

Trevor Brock, the club secretary, expects the Hawks to use up their full ticket allocation for the lucrative match at Anfield.

"We're taking 6,000 tickets and we hope we can sell them. Looking at all the figures we could take half a million pounds plus £250,000-300,000 worth of add-ons."
