FK Haugesund have warned Arsenal over the fee for 16 year-old prospect Havard Nordtveidt.

"We would like to keep Havard until the end of the season, but Arsenal wants him immediately," Haugesund director Halvor Berge told Nettavisen.

"We are hoping to reach a happy solution which benefits the club.

"Not just Arsenal and the player should be pleased with the transfer."

Arsenal reportedly offered £1.8million for the defender and, whilst Haugesund hold out for more money, Nordtveit's agent remains confident that his client is closing in on a dream move to the Premiership.

"They (Haugesund) will have to think about the offer for a few days," agent Jim Solbakken told Haugesunds Avis.

"I'm sure the offer will go through, but the club has to decide"
