Former Chelsea and Leeds United striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink continued his dream start as Burton boss as Albion moved joint-top of the Sky Bet League 2 table with a 1-0 home win over previous leaders Luton.
Phil Edwards proved the match-winner with a strike on 47 minutes, while the Hatters had Luke Wilkinson sent off late on.
The Brewers now only trail on goal difference behind Wycombe, who lost to Burton on Monday in Hasselbaink's first match in charge but bounced back in fine style with a 4-1 success at Cheltenham.
