Welsh legend John Hartson has warned Cardiff City they face a huge test to stay up.

The Bluebirds were comfortable Championship winners last season.

Hartson said: "Cardiff face a massive challenge, but they deserve the chance to face it.

"Malky did fantastically well last year and the side have earned the right to be in this league after winning the Championship at a canter.

"And because of that I think Malky will give a lot of the players there an opportunity to show they can play at this level now."
