Gold Coast-bound Joel Porter suffered a slight knee injury in Hartlepool's 3-2 loss to Scunthorpe on Monday.

The Australian striker had to be substituted in the second half but it is unlikely to keep him out of their next clash.

"Joel took a bang on the knee, I don't think it's too serious and we'll assess him through the rest of the week," manager Chris Turner told the club's official website.

"We'll see how he is in a couple of days and hopefully he will be alright to make the trip to Yeovil with us at the weekend."
