Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has backed their push for Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero. Hart says team-mate David Silva has convinced the City squad that £45million-rated Aguero is the man to step in.
England ace Hart told The Sun: "I watch a bit of Spanish football and the thing about him is he's only ever linked with the top teams.
"I've spoken to David Silva about him and he's really given him the nod of approval - that's good enough for me."
Hart accepts Tevez will be a tough act to follow after a goal-laden two-year stay.
The keeper, speaking at the launch of a new partnership between City and EA Sports, added: "It's unfortunate for the club and he leaves a big gap.
"But we've got people ready to step up to the plate like Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko."
