Hart keen to see Man City "win well" against EB/Streymur

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is keen for an impressive victory over EB/Streymur in tonight's UEFA Cup qualifier second-leg clash.

Despite sitting on a two-goal lead from the first leg in the Faroe Isles, Hart wants his team mates to show no mercy to the Scandinavian part-timers: "We want to win well, we'd like to bulldoze teams at this stage and show our fitness and ability against them," he told City's website.

"Ideally we would like to win heavily, but we'd take a 1-0 win, a good performance and being in the next round."

And the 21-year-old believes that the competitive action of the UEFA Cup qualifiers, coupled with top quality friendly opposition will stand City in good stead for the campaign to come.

"We're lucky enough to be involved in some great friendlies, against the likes of Hamburg, Celtic and AC Milan. We've got the European games as well, and it's all good.

"I think we'll be well-prepared for the start of the season. Every day in training is a step forward, and it is nice to have the games at the end of the week to get involved in."
