Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was delighted for Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck over his England winner last night.

It was Welbeck's first game since April but the youngster had been struggling with an ankle injury, linked up with Manchester United team-mate Ashley Young to score a glorious goal.

Hart said: "Danny took his goal superbly.

"We had one chance in the first 70 minutes and that was Danny's and it was a great finish. It really helps when you have strikers with that ability to finish."
