Hart fails to keep crock Dindane at Portsmouth

Portsmouth boss Paul Hart has been frustrated in his attempt to keep Aruna Dindane away from international duty.

Pompey have been unable to stop injured leading scorer Dindane being called up by the Ivory Coast for an international he may not even play in.

Dindane must endure a 6,500-mile round trip for the World Cup qualifier with Guinea despite a hamstring injury which forced him off in Pompey's defeat at Blackburn.

Portsmouth boss Paul Hart had hoped four-goal Dindane, 28, would be allowed to stay in England for treatment.

Hart said: "We have to hope Aruna will be fit to face Stoke when he gets back."

But Chelsea did get Dindane's international strike partner Didier Drogba pulled from the Ivory Coast squad after a kick to the chest.
