Hart confident Man City can bounce back against Roma

Manchester City require a victory on the second matchday of the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League.

The Premier League champions host AS Roma on Tuesday night and goalkeeper Joe Hart is well aware just how important it is to secure three points.

City opened their Group E campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Bayern Munich a fortnight ago while Roma hammered CSKA Moscow 5-1 in the Italian capital but Hart is confident of producing a winning score against Rudi Garcia's Giallorossi.

"It is obviously a big game after a disappointing start in Munich. We are aware it is the Champions League and not the knock-out phase straight away," said Hart who could be back in the starting line-up after losing his spot to Willy Caballero on the weekend.

"We have to build on it especially at home and we are going in trying to win the game.

"Roma have been doing very well. We have focused a lot more on them since drawn in our group, they got a great result in matchday one. Every game is tough in Champions League, but we are up for it and more than capable of winning."
