Harry Redknapp is set to be confirmed fulltime manager of Birmingham City by the end of the week.
The former Tottenham manager d will hold further discussions with the club's owners over terms and transfer budget with both sides hopeful of a conclusion in the coming days.
The Daily Mail says Redknapp has travelled to Birmingham this week to speak to Trillion Trophy Asia's key figures after holding an initial meeting in London on Sunday in the aftermath of guiding the team to Championship survival.
The Chinese owners were hugely impressed by Redknapp finding two wins from his three games in charge and are ready to invest in the playing squad for a push at promotion next season.
Redknapp has already been contacted by Premier League clubs interested in placing promising young players on loan at Birmingham.
