Harry Redknapp says Spurs need deeper squad

Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says his old club need to deepen their squad.

Redknapp reckons bolstering the squad will be key to maintaining a proper title challenge.

“Maybe he could do with another three or four players to give them that strength in depth," Redknapp told BBC Radio Five Live when quizzed about the Tottenham squad.

“I think Manchester United have that - people like Rashford don't get a game, Rooney doesn't get in the starting XI.

“(Phil) Jones, (Luke) Shaw - he's got cover everywhere.

“I don't think Tottenham have got that."
