Harry Kewell has announced that he has stepped down from his role as Watford U23s head coach.
The Australian legend took a role with the Hornets Academy in July 2015 but has now decided to leave the Hertfordshire club after a run of bad results.
The U23 side have won just twice since September and former Leeds United and Liverpool winger Kewell feels it is time to move on.
"Regretfully myself and Watford under-23s have parted ways," he wrote on Twitter.
“Unfortunately results haven't been on my side however I'm extremely proud as three of my players have made their debut for the first team and five others have been in the squad.
"I'd like to thank Watford for the opportunity and wish the club and my players all the best for the future. I'm looking forward to my next challenge."
