Tottenham are ready to make Harry Kane the highest paid player in their history.
The Sunday Express says the England international, 23, only signed a new five year and a half year contract worth £50,000 a week in February 2015.
Last season he won the Premier League's Golden Boot after scoring 25 goals and Mauricio Pochettino has been busy extending deals of the club's big name stars.
A deal for Kane who needs a second scan on an ankle injury was first muted in the summer and he will become the highest paid player in club history.
Bale was previously their best paid player picking up around £80,000 a week before his world record move to Real Madrid.
But they will need to dig deeper than the £70,000 that Eriksen is picking up to keep Kane who is rated as one of the best young strikers in Europe at White Hart Lane.
