Former Manchester United youth guru Eric Harrison feels Paul Scholes will returning to coaching at the club once he hangs up his boots.
Scholes has now signed on for another 12 months as a player.
"He'll get a job at Manchester United - no question," Harrison told the Manchester Evening News.
"His biggest impact is joining in during training because you can learn so much from him. He also has a great tutor himself in reserve manager Warren Joyce.
"I don't want him to hang up his boots again for a couple of years, but when he does and he rejoins the coaching staff he will be a big, big asset."
