Newcastle United goalkeeper Steve Harper admits their relegation battle continues to weigh them down after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Hull City.
Harper said: "Results went our way on Saturday but I'm not really interested in that. I'm far more concerned with what we do and we can't let ourselves be distracted by what other teams are doing.
"It's about us. We can't rely on anybody else to do us favours.
"We have to be the masters of our own destiny.
"What we have to do is make that performance against Manchester United the bedrock for how we play at home to Arsenal and Chelsea - and then after that, too.
"We've got nine big, big games ahead of us. Everybody knows that."
