Haris Vuckic hopes to be back for Newcastle United before the end of the season.

The Slovenian suffered cruciate ligament damage playing for the reserves in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa earlier in the campaign.

And Vuckic feels he will be back sooner rather than later.

He told the Slovenian media: "I'm only thinking about returning and, if everything goes to plan, I will be playing again in four months' time.

"And when I return, I will return even stronger."
