Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves hopes to speak with Sir Alex Ferguson in the near future about the Scot's personal attack in his controversial autobiography.

Fergie accused Hargreaves of not having 'nearly enough determination' and that he always opted 'for the easy choice' during training.

"I think we will have a chat at an appropriate time," Hargreaves told the Manchester Evening News.

"I think that is something that's essential. A private conversation. It will happen - football is a small world and I am sure we will bump into each other."
