Hargreaves: Man Utd must not ask too much of Rashford

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves says it's too soon to count on Marcus Rashford as their top striker.

Champions League winner Hargreaves has stated that he believes the reliance on Rashford by Unkited is not good for the 19-year-olds development.

The BT pundit said, "He is the future isn't he? He is the future. I don't think anybody denies that.

"But I think the bigger question is, how much do you rely on him now at nineteen?

"You talk about the Barcelona's, the Real Madrid's, the Bayern Munich's, they don't have 19-year-old centre forwards that lead the line week-in and week-out.

"I think he's a super special player, but I think putting too much pressure on him at nineteen is not going to benefit him."
