Marlon Harewood is desperate to help Aston Villa qualify for Europe this season.

Harewood was in the West Ham side dumped out 4-0 on aggregate by Italian team Palermo in the first round.

"My one experience of Europe ended very quickly so I'd like to put that right," said Harewood. "Premier League clubs are doing well in Europe this season and we want some of that. We've got the quality here to do that.

"That's what the gaffer wants too. Martin O'Neill is used to Europe from his time at Celtic and he wants this club in that bracket."
