Hapoel Tel Aviv's Enyeama close to West Ham move

Hapoel Tel Aviv goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is closing in on a dream move to West Ham United.

The Nigerian stopper, who was impressive during the World Cup group stage, is confident something will happen this week in regards to transferring to England.

"I expect to hear something new within the next week," he told the News of the World.

"It's natural. Everybody wants to get ahead in life so, obviously, I want to move to a different place."

Hammers boss Avram Grant is a known admirer of the 28-year old but there is also interest from Fulham who may be in for a replacement if Mark Schwarzer leaves for Arsenal.
