Hapoel's Gerzicich wants MLS move says father

The father of American-Argentine midfielder Bryan Gerzicich says his son is keen on a move to MLS.

The 29-year old Los Angeles-born Gerzicich, currently with Israeli club Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona, is being targeted by an unnamed Belgian club but is eager to continue his career in North America starting this summer.

"He has an offer to play in Belgium, he is waiting for an American negotiator who can make an offer from MLS," Juan Gerzicich said in an e-mail sent to MLSsoccer.com.

"I believe that it's possible, he wants to go [to play in America]. An important stage in Israel is already finished for him."

Gerzicich, who was raised in Argentina, joined Hapoel Irony Kiryat Shmona from Hapoel Haifa in 2010 and helped the club win the Israeli Premier League title in 2012.
