Hans Backe has emerged as a potential candidate for the manager's job at Notts County.
The Daily Mail says Backe has emerged as the frontrunner to replace Ian McParland as manager of Notts County.
Backe, 57, was Sven Goran Eriksson's assistant at Manchester City and Mexico and is believed to be the favoured choice from a shortlist of five which also includes Steve Cotterill and Peter Taylor.
Eriksson's first-choice, Roberto Mancini, has turned down the post after the pair met in Italy.
