Hannover striker Joselu, Guangzhou defender Kim on Sunderland radar

Sunderland are reportedly showing interest in a South Korean defender and a Spanish striker. The Chronicle suggests that Guangzhou Evergrande centre-back Kim Young-gwon has emerged on the radar of the Black Cats.

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has been made aware of Kim through his South Korean contacts who he knows from his time spent as Taeguk Warriors manager.

Also on the hit-list of the Mackem is Hannover attacker Joselu who has been identified by sporting director Lee Congerton as the type of player the Wearside club requires.

The 25-year old joined Hannover from Hoffenheim last summer following a loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt. He previously spent time at Real Madrid.
