Hannover 96 sporting director Jorg Schmadtke has revealed talks with Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf.
The Senegalese forward, 24, has scored seven goals in six appearances for the reserves this season and has also been linked with Wigan, Hoffenheim and Nurnberg.
Schmadtke said: "There have been discussions with his agent. We have shared our thoughts. I am now waiting for a response."
