Hannover chairman Martin Kind expects to lose striker Mame Biram Diouf in the summer.
The former Manchester United forward is a top target for Stoke City.
"His agent has insisted we should not have any hopes on signing a new contract with Mame Biram Diouf, so that's what we are going to do!" Kind told Neue Presse Hannover.
