Blackburn Rovers matchwinner Grant Hanley says they were well worth the three points at Manchester United.

Ten minutes from time, Hanley popped up to score his first goal for the club and secure the win which Rovers' hard-working performance had deserved.

"It hasn't really sunk in yet," he said after the match.

"We put a real shift in. The lads worked really hard.

"We knew it was going to be like that, but we kept our shape and I think we deserved everything we got. The confidence levels have been high all season, but we've not been getting the results.

"We've now had two good results back-to-back and hopefully we can kick on."
