Fulham captain Brede Hangeland was absolutely delighted to mark his return from injury with an impressive victory in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
The Norwegian centre-half has been sidelined since sustaining a back injury in October but resumed in the Cottagers line-up to lead the southwest Londoners to a 3-0 win over Norwich City in the third round of the cup competition.
"It's nice to be back." Hangeland told VG.
"It has been a tough time I have gone through, since I haven't been injured much in the past.
"Therefore, it felt particularly good to put on the jersey. I am now looking forward to assisting club and country."
