Marek Hamsik has pledged his future to Napoli.

"I am happy here. My future is at Napoli. I have a contract that I am fully satisfied with and in fact goes beyond what I had wanted," said the Slovak international.

"I want to play with this shirt and win something important. This season my personal aim is to improve on the nine goals I scored last term, but above all I hope Napoli can finish higher up the standings than in 2007-08."
