Hammers skipper Noble: West Ham are being 'priced out' by bigger clubs

West Ham United captain Mark Noble admits the club continuously gets priced out of deals for new players.

The Hammers have been linked with moves for Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho, Arsenal frontman Olivier Giroud and Montpellier striker Steve Mounie.

However, their negotiations have proved to be frustrating, with their only business of the summer coming through the free transfer of Manchester City fullback Pablo Zabaleta.

"I think we need to get a few in. I'm sure the chairman is working tirelessly to get them in but this market is so hard," Noble told Sky Sports.

"Players are so expensive now and you get priced out. We're competing with so many other teams to get the players we want."
