Hamilton have agreed a deal with Dundee to keep Mickael Antoine-Curier until the end of the season. Accies boss Billy Reid is keen to sort out the deal for Antoine-Curier, whose initial loan spell expires on January 1, before Hamilton face Celtic on Boxing Day.
"We've agreed with Dundee to bring him here until the end of the season," Reid said.
"I have just got to agree terms with Mickael Antonie-Curier. I'm hopeful that will go through in the next 48 hours.
"It comes down to finances. He's like every other player, he has ambitions of playing at the highest level he can, and there is nothing the matter with that.
"He has been absolutely brilliant for me. The improvement in him from day one to now is staggering.
"He should have scored more than five goals and I'm sure he will continue to score goals for us."
Reid could also extend the stay of former Hibernian midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin, whose deal ends in January.
"We are speaking to Guillaume Beuzelin too so hopefully we can maybe do something in the next few days," Reid said.
