Hamilton favourite Wesolowski sees no future at Leicester

Aussie midfielder James Wesolowski is weighing up his options at Hamilton.

Wesolowski sees no future for himself at parent club Leicester City, having spent the last two years on loan with both Dundee United and Accies.

However the 22-year-old Australian, who has a year remaining on his Foxes contract, refused to rule out the possibility of a return to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

He said: "I've got my agent to speak to Leicester but I'm not to sure what the case is for next season.

"I'm not going to be in the manager's plans there though and I think I'm going to have to move on.

"I've got one more year on my contract but I'd like to get something permanent.

"You'd always like that security of a few more years but it wouldn't be such a bad scenario if I did have to come back up here for another year."

Wesolowski, who has already suffered two broken legs and a broken ankle during his young career, added: "I've enjoyed my football this year, I've been injury-free and that's helped me a lot.

"I spoke to the gaffer the other day and he was asking what's the scenario with Leicester.

"I didn't really have much news for him but he's going to get in contact with them and hopefully we'll be able to sort something out."
