Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart admits he wants to wind down his career with Cadiz.

The former Real Madrid and Tottenham star is expected to leave HSV at the end of this season.

"I agreed with my grandfather that I will finish [my career] at Cádiz," Van der Vaart told The Post Online.

Van der Vaart was born in the Netherlands but his mother is a native of the Spanish town Chiclana de la Frontera, which is in Cádiz.
