Hamburg SV midfielder Alen Halilovic is set to join Las Palmas.

Sport says the Croatian attacker is expected in the Canary Islands on Thursday afternoon to have a medical and seal a loan move.

Halilovic was sold to Hamburg for five million euros last summer by Barcelona, although Barça maintain an option to sign him back within two years.

They can sign him this summer for 10 million euros of next summer for 12.5 million euros.

With official confirmation to come, nothing is expected to get in the way of the deal.
