Hamburg have swooped for young Blackburn Rovers midfielder Mamadi Keita.
The 18-year-old midfielder signed a two-and-a-half year contract on Thursday after impressing on a trial earlier in the month.
"Mamadi is a former Germany youth international who will firstly be integrated with our reserve team," said Hamburg director of sport Dietmar Beiersdorfer.
"At the same time, he will be a potential first-team player too."
Keita played for Cologne before moving to Blackburn in 2005 and returns for his second spell in the Bundesliga.
