Hamburg chairman Dietmar Beiersdorfer insists Rafael van der Vaart is not for sale.
The former Tottenham midfielder has been linked with QPR and West Bromwich Albion.
"I'm glad we have him," he told the Bild newspaper.
"Rafa is an exceptional player. I'm counting on Rafa. He's making a good impression."
