German club Hamburg have eased past Belgian outfit Standard Liege in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, taking the second 3-1 away to record a 5-2 win on aggregate.
Hamburg lead 2-1 going into their away leg and the tie was evenly poised until Croatian striker Mladen Petric netted in the 20th minute to make it 3-1 overall.
But Standard hit back in the 32nd minute through Brazilian-born Belgium international Igor de Camargo who scored with a header from close range.
However, it was only 1-1 on the night for three more minutes as Petric grabbed his second - this one a brilliant overhead kick to make it 4-2 overall.
The win was rounded out when Paolo Guerrero scored in the 90th minute to give the Germans a 3-1 lead on the night to make it 5-2 and send them through to a semi-final against Fulham who got past their Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg.
