Hamburg are confident of keeping winger Eljero Elia to the end of the season - at the least.
Elia has been linked with a move to Liverpool this month, while Hamburg have confirmed they've rejected loan offers from Wigan Athletic and Everton.
Elia, 24, has made no secret of his wish to move to England - and has spoken of an ambition to play for Manchester United.
Liverpool are expected to try for Elia after selling Ryan Babel to Hoffenheim, but Hamburg directors are adamant they are under no pressure to sell and would prefer to consider the midfielder's transfer only in the summer.
