Didi Hamann is urging Liverpool to go for Schalke star Julian Draxler.Arsenal are favourites to sign the midfielder this year - either in January or June.
But Hamann told LFCTV: "Where new signings are concerned I think we are pretty solid at the back, the middle of the park is where we need to add strength, somebody to make things happen and create an opportunity, somebody with vision that can score goals.
"There is a player in Germany at Schalke, Julian Draxler, a 20-year-old with 10 caps for his country.
"He would cost a lot of money but I think he is the type of player the team could do with."
