Former Bayern Munich midfielder Didi Hamann can see his old club moving for Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez.

The Chile international is being linked with a £55 million move to Bayern this week.

Asked about the prospect Hamann was enthusiastic: "Wings are the positions where Bayern should be most active.

"Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are still world class, but their performances have declined. They just grew old. Bayern needs alternatives.

"(Kingsley Coman) has the potential to follow in the footsteps of Robben and Ribery. The recruitment of Alexis Sanchez could be an option."
