Mick Halsall has joined the Wolves academy coaching staff.

He made the step up from League One after 11 years at the helm of youth development at Walsall.

Wolves chief Kevin Thelwel said: "We're delighted to have Mick on board in what is a fantastic appointment for the club.

"He is one of the best developers of youth talent in the country and is very well respected in the game.''
