Everton have secured teenage midfielder James Hall to a one-year pro deal.
He has only recently been able to return to training after serious knee problems.
But the club are sticking by the player, who was delighted to commit to the Blues for what could be an important year.
"I feel really happy and delighted that I have signed my first professional contract here at Everton," Hall told evertonfc.com. "When I first joined the Academy in 2005, I did my cruciate and I was out for almost two years.
"I am finally back into training and it was my first training session on Monday."
