LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena plans to keep soccer in the US moving forward. The former US national team boss was recently inducted into US Soccer's Hall of Fame and is keen to do whatever he can to continue to grow the sport in his beloved America.
"Hopefully, I can thank them by continuing to do the right things to help grow the sport. It is unique," he said.
Arena said he was also thrilled to be inducted with great company which included Kyle Rote, Preki Radosavljevic and Thomas Dooley.
"I'm very appreciative of the recognition. It's a diverse class for sure. Kyle Rote and I are about the same age and we grew up actually with similar backgrounds. We started in the game so late and then you have Preki and Dooley who obviously learned their trade in other countries and have come here to help build the game. So it's really a diverse and unique class and a class I'm proud to be a part of," he added.
