Hakim Abdullah is thrilled with his move to Stoke City.
The former Brest junior, 18, signed for the Potters in January.
"England has been a dream for me since I was little. Stoke, when I was offered a professional contract, I thought and I decided quickly," he told Foot Mercato.
"This is a good team that plays good football, with good players. This is a good team. I really wanted to discover England. When I saw the first game in the stands at Stoke, I was surprised by the atmosphere, the fans. It's really something else.
"At Brest, I played with the U19s. A month before my departure, I began to play with the reserves in the CFA 2."
