Hajduk Split striker Nikola Kalinic has welcomed interest from Palermo.

"It's true, for me, Palermo would be a dream come true," Kalinic said. "I have always imagined one day playing in the Italian championship, which is one of the most important in the world.

"It would be fantastic to do what Luca Toni and Amauri did at Palermo. Both established themselves in the Rosanero shirt.

"I can quietly say that for me they are two of my idols. They are strikers, who inspire me."
