Hajduk Split midfielder Josip Skoko has confirmed he will return to Australia when his current contract with the Croatian club expires.
The 34-year old former Australia international will finish his spell with Split at the end of the season and it appears likely he will join new A-League club Melbourne Heart but it is unsure if it will be in a playing or coaching role.
Skoko told Split's official website that he will definitely return to Australia, ending his second stint at the club, fifteen years after he first joined.
"I'm definitely going. There were informal discussions, but Hajduk know that me and my family have decided [to return to Australia]," Skoko said.
