Andrew Hainault has now officially signed for Houston Dynamo and his coach Dominic Kinnear is relieved that his contract has been finalised.

Hainault has been training with the Dynamo since the start of pre-season training.

After Eddie Robinson's knee surgery, Houston attempted to sign him, but his former club, Czech Republic outfit FK SIAD Most, made a claim that he was under contract.

"I feel bad for him because he comes everyday, shows up on time, tries his hardest, and really the situation is out of his control," said Kinnear last week.

"Last week was one of the toughest weeks, thinking what am I going to do if my club won't let me go?" Hainault said.

"Take it to FIFA or sit out a year -- some pretty bad options. So like I said, happy it worked out and excited to be part of the Dynamo."
