Hahnemann: Wolves want me to stay

American goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has revealed Wolves want to keep him next season.

US shot-stopper Hahnemann, 37, joined promoted Wolves on a one-year deal last summer when he left Reading on a free.

Hahnemann said: “I’d love to be here next season.

“I want to stay, and the club are hoping to keep me here, so hopefully everything will be done soon.

“I’ve spoken to the manager on a number of occasions about staying and we’re both singing from the same hymn sheet, so I can’t see there being too much of a problem when it comes to thrashing out a new deal.”
