Marcus Hahnemann has called on his Reading team-mates to prove they are man enough for a relegation battle.
Hahnemann told the Reading Evening Post: "If we played every game like this we wouldn't be in 18th position. That's the bottom line. We haven't played like we did here all season.
"There is extra pressure on us, so now we'll find out who has got the balls to handle it. It's as simple as that.
"If we don't put in performances like that and people are too scared to play and people do the wrong things at times then we're going to be relegated.
"But the squad we have today is basically the same as the one that finished eighth last year so we definitely have enough quality. This performance was like how we played against Manchester United.
"We have 12 games left, so there are plenty of points to put things right."
