Former US international Marcus Hahnemann is enjoying back in the English Premier League with Wolves.
The 37-year old ex-Reading shot-stopper got the chance to join the newly-promoted club during Europe's summer and is delighted it has worked out so well.
"It was a big change for me, a whole new group of guys, a young team, but it's been great," Hahnemann told ESPN's Soccernet.
"I knew how great the stadium was, and the crowds were super loud. When I was with Reading, I really enjoyed going there."
Hahnemann added that he jumped at the chance to join manager Mick McCarthy at the Molineux when the opportunity arose.
"I always thought Mick was a pretty good guy," Hahnemann added.
"He seemed like it, but I never really got a chance to meet him. Now, having had the chance, it's pretty neat, because it's such a contrast from (Steve) Coppell (former Reading boss).
"Mick is so completely the opposite end, where he's out on the touchline yelling louder than everybody. Just after talking to him, I knew it was going to be a good thing."
Hahnemann has yet to make a league appearance this season but is providing good competition for Wolves number on Wayne Hennessy.
